The Export Promotion Council for EOUs & SEZs (under the aegis of Government of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry) in cooperation with Wbf International Centre for Services (WICS) is organising the first ever Global Economic Zones Expo & Convention 2019 at Jaipur and Convention Centre (JECC), India, from February 12- 14, 2019.
The event will serve as an effective instrument for promoting trade and industrialization, by way of attracting foreign direct investments (FDIs) in the manufacturing and services sectors, creating jobs, enhancing exports and foreign exchange earnings, as well as an excellent opportunity to showcase organization’s products and services to the global business community.
Recognising the significance of this initiative, the following central government ministries, government organisations, and others have confirmed support to this unique expo and convention: Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Ministry of Shipping, Government of Rajasthan as Host and Partner State, and other organisations, including the ministries of Civil Aviation and Railways.
The objectives of the expo are to promote foreign and domestic trade & investments, deliver sustainable growth based on cutting-edge technology and enterprise, ease of doing business, showcase state-of-the-art infrastructure, facilitate local economies to unlock their key development sites, play a critical role in developing international markets, develop important components of cross-country economic corridor and trade agreements, foster technological learnings and innovation, support development of global production networks and value chains.
