Embassy of India in Astana celebrated the 76th Republic Day of India at Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre of the Embassy in Astana on 26th January 2025. Ambassador Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad unfurled the National Flag which was followed by recital of National Anthem. Ambassador also read out Hon’ble President’s Address to the Nation. More than 80 members of Indian community and Kazakh friends of India attended the event, braving the freezing temperatures of Astana. A similar function was also held at the Representative Office of India in Almaty where Second Secretary Mr. Swapnil Kothawade unfurled the National Flag and read out Hon'ble President's Address to the Nation. More than 100 members of Indian community and Kazakh friends attended the event.
