CELEBRATING 150th BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF MAHATMA GANDHI
State School No. 92 named after Mahatma Gandhi, Almaty (Kazalkhstan) inaugurated 'Mahatma Gandhi Gallery' in its premises on 30.10.2019. The Gallery was set up with the support of Embassy of India in Kazakhstan and Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre.
The Gallery had a picture wall depicting archival photographs connected with the life of Mahatma Gandhi, and a Book Corner, consisting of literature on Gandhiji.One section of the Gallery showcased the sketches, paintings and drawings made by students of the Mahatma Gandhi School, on the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Gandhi ji, on 2 Oct 2019.
