2nd India-Central Asia Youth Forum
06-12 March 2024
After the successful completion of 1st edition, the Department of Youth Affairs of India, will be hosting the second edition of the Central Asia Youth Delegation Programme (YDP) in India from March 6th to 12th, 2024.
Within the framework of the trip, the youth delegation will get an opportunity to visit the rich cultural heritage, meet high dignitaries, leading research institutions and Indian companies in the cities of Delhi, Agra and Ahmedabad.
A Government of India sponsored programme, the forum is an ideal opportunity for the Youth of Central Asia and India for enhancing mutual understanding and social and cultural ties, while getting to experience India’s diverse historical, cultural, financial, medical and educational places of interest. The forum is a chance to showcase innovative ideas and raise up young voices to bring a new youth perspective in various walks of life.
Criteria for selection of members of the Youth Delegation:

She/he should be a young achiever and widely known as a youth icon in her/ his Country.

She/he should have demonstrated remarkable achievement in her/his chosen field of study/work/profession. She/he should be proficient in English.

She/he should have obtained satisfactorily academic grades, and, participated at university level in extracurricular activities and excelled it.

She/he should have promising career ahead and possess capability to utilize opportunity for positive outcomes.

She/he should fit in the age group of 15 - 30 Years. She/he should be in good health and fit to travel.

She/he should be a citizen of the Kazakhstan and holder of a valid Passport.
Benefits:
- Expenditure on to and from economy class international airfare.
- full local hospitality including transportation, accommodation and food will be borne by Government of India.
Timeline:

Last date for submission of application along with supporting documents [1. Educational qualification document, 2. Passport copy, 3. CV/Resume with application form] – 08 February 2024.

Interview: 12 February 2024

Prospective participants are invited to provide their CV/resume to the following email: info.astana@mea.gov.in till 08 February 2024. 10 candidates will be selected based on the CV/resume of candidates and interview with the Embassy officials.
