Celebration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 02.10.2019 in Almaty

Ambassador Prabhat Kumar led the Indian and local community in Almaty, in paying floral and musical tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th Birth Anniversary. Among other dignitaries present were: Mr. YerlanUzanuly-Head of Representative Office of MFA, Ms. AinurSerikovna - Deputy Mayor of Almaty District, Mr. PaltoreYktiyar - Dean of Al Farabi Kazakh National University, Mr. YerulanZhienbayev - Director of School number 92 named after Mahatma Gandhi and Mr. ImanmadiKalelkhan - Director of Masimov's Health Centre.

An exhibition of paintings by students of the School number 92 named after Mahatma Gandhi, entitled "Gandhi and His Message" was also mounted on this occasion. Ambassador and President and Working Committee Members of Incham Kazakhstan, distributed Certificates and Prizes to the winners.
